Manufacturers of the SkyView (Dynon) and G3X (Garmin) systems have issued service bulletins (Dynon Service Bulletin 050620E, Garmin 2069 Rev. A), whereby prescribe the inspection of Kavlico P/N P4055-15G-E4A, P4055-50G-E4A or P4055-150G-E4A fluid pressure sensors. The reason for the inspection is the fact that a small number of Kavlico manufactured fluid pressure sensors have leaked. Kavlico P / N P4055-15G-E4A is used in Dynon SkyView and G3X system installations as a fuel pressure sensor.
The engine manufacturer (ROTAX) has issued Service Bulletin SB-912-076UL ordering the replacement of the fuel pump nipple fittings. The reason for the replacement is the fact that a certain number of fuel pump nipple fittings were installed using a lubricant instead of the prescribed thread sealant LOCTITE 577 Yellow.
This bulletin replaces the cancelled bulletin EV 97-039a SPORTSTAR-040a Harmony LSA-017. This bulletin corrects a numbering error.
